Deal on Payroll taxes

Congress just announced that is has reached a deal on extending the payroll taxes break for another year. I suppose they think this will improve the economy and move the jobless rate closer to 4 or 5 percent level. I am all for lowering taxes and endorse the concept of unshackling the American spirit from the onerous tax burden that is weighing down the private sector in this economy. But the way to free up the productive energies of this nation is not to keep spending like there is no tomorrow and lower income revenues at the same time.

Cut Entitlements

What we need is to seriously cut entitlements, and reduce taxes by deeply cutting spending. The spending and borrowing has got to stop or we will destroy this country and, with it, the future of our children.

Everyone knows

Everyone knows this debt will overwhelm us; everyone knows that we are weakening the dollar; everyone know that soon the interests on the debt will consume all government income; everyone knows that we are enslaving our children with debt and taxes; everyone knows that we simply can not go on spending our way into oblivion; everyone knows.

We Need True Grit

We need men and women with true grit to go to Washington and stop this madness. If we don’t the truly there will be no tomorrow for America.
